Synology Network Video Recorder NVR216 makes surveillance monitoring and playback simple. After the initial set up, users can simply connect an HDMI monitor and keyboard/mouse to setup their Surveillance Station without the need for a PC. Synology NVR216 supports video recording of up to 4 or 9 network cameras when each camera is configured at 720p/30FPS within a network. Without requiring any costly computer, NVR216 is a compact all-in-one solution for monitoring live feeds, changing IP camera settings, and even browsing stored video footage.
Thanks to the versatile features of Surveillance Station, NVR216 is suitable for retail stores or small scale deployment. NVR216 has a total of three USB ports with one of the USB ports being USB 3.0. Users can connect a mouse, or keyboard to easily navigate between different camera streams and use the audio input port to connect a microphone and communicate via two-way audio enabled cameras. In the event of power failure, NVR216 supports Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to ensure continuous power supply and can safely power down before the UPS battery runs out.
